Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a MultiSkilled Shift Supervisor to oversee a team of engineers in a critical environment at The Shard. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and timely maintenance to ensure high-performance operations.

You will lead day and shift engineers, drive KPI achievement, and coordinate planned maintenance while maintaining strict records using IT systems. This role demands a proactive leader with experience in critical facilities.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent.
• HVAP qualification with relevant high-voltage experience.
• IEE 18th Edition Regulations (ideal) and IOSH Managing Safely certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment and services are kept and functioning safely and efficiently.
• Lead and supervise a team of day engineers and shift engineers, ensuring performance standards and KPIs are achieved.
• Ensure all planned maintenance activities are completed in line with scheduled dates.
• Prioritise Statutory and Mandatory maintenance tasks and ensure reactive tasks are completed within required priorities.
• Maintain compliance standards and accurately record work using IT systems and reporting tools.

Job description

ROLE: MultiSkilled Shift Supervisor
HOURS: 42 hours per week, 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off
LOCATION: The Shard

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

• City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent.
• HVAP qualification with relevant high-voltage experience.
• IEE 18th Edition Regulations (ideal).
• IOSH Managing Safely certification.
• Equivalent mechanical qualifications will also be considered with the appropriate level of experience.

Additional Requirements

• Previous experience working within a critical environment, such as a Data Centre, would be advantageous.
• Experience carrying out all types of electrical installation, repair, maintenance and contract-related works.
• Must be available to join a call-out rota.
• Must hold UK citizenship and be able to complete DV clearance.
