Job summary

Mears Group in Staines is seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Operative to deliver high-quality repairs across occupied social housing. The role covers carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and decorating, with a hands-on, customer-focused approach to every job.

You’ll work 42.5 hours per week, typically 8-5, and use handheld devices to record details while ensuring work complies with safety standards. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in domestic repairs across multiple trades
• Damp & Mould experience
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day responsive repairs across occupied social housing properties
• Replace or repair skirting boards, architraves, and internal door frames
• Installing and adjusting kitchen units, worktops, and cupboard doors
• Repairing or replacing internal doors, handles, locks, and hinges
• Recording job details using handheld devices and job sheets
• Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicle to a high standard
• Manage daily workload to meet service level targets
