Job summary

Pertemps Bond in Ledbury is seeking a hands-on Multi Skilled Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing team. The role offers rotating shifts (06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00) with both temporary and permanent opportunities and a pay rate of £12.81 per hour.

You will gain experience across fabrication, assembly, sewing, welding and packing, with full training provided. A proactive approach, quality focus and teamwork are essential to meet production targets and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in fabrication, assembly, sewing, welding or packing would be advantageous.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Fabric welding, cutting/slitting, industrial sewing, fabrication and assembly work.
• Packing finished products ready for dispatch.
• Operating machinery safely and efficiently.
• Working to production specifications, worksheets and engineering drawings.
• Completing quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Using computer systems for shop floor data collection and works order completion.
• Meeting production targets and customer delivery deadlines.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.

Pertemps are currently recruiting for Multi Skilled Production Operatives on behalf of a successful manufacturing client based in Herefordshire. We are looking for motivated, hands-on individuals to join a busy production team, with both temporary and permanent opportunities available.

This is a varied role offering the chance to develop a range of manufacturing skills including fabrication, assembly, sewing, welding and packing. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates with production experience or those looking to build a career in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

The Successful Candidate

• Strong awareness of Health & Safety requirements.
• Forklift Truck experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
