Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting for a Multi‑Skilled Production Operative in Ledbury. The role covers fabrication, assembly, sewing, welding and packing across multiple production stages, with full training provided.

You will work on a rotating shift pattern (06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00) and contribute to meeting daily targets while maintaining safety standards. The position offers both temporary and permanent opportunities, a supportive team, and the chance to develop practical manufacturing skills with

Qualifications

Prior manufacturing or production experience is desirable but not essential.
Experience in fabrication, assembly, sewing, welding or packing would be advantageous.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Good attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Computer literate and confident using workplace systems.

Responsibilities

Fabric welding, cutting/slitting, industrial sewing, fabrication and assembly work.
Packing finished products ready for dispatch.
Operating machinery safely and efficiently.
Working to production specifications, worksheets and engineering drawings.
Completing quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
Using computer systems for shop floor data collection and works order completion.
Meeting production targets and customer delivery deadlines.
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
