Job description

Gilmartins are recruiting for an experienced Plumber Multi Trader with additional trades to include basic carpentry & electrics, patch plastering, tiling skills.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in social housing.

We work in social housing and provide reactive repairs for local authorities and housing associations.

The role involves work and travel in the South West London area, covering main postcodes including SE11, SE21, SE27, and SW9.

Properties managed by this well-known Housing Association are located across these areas, requiring regular travel.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Carry out property repairs and maintenance works in social housing.
2. Work according to the Scope of Works on PDA for each job.

Requirements:

• Full UK manual driving license (not EU or automatic license).
• Own tools required.
• Experience working in social housing.
• DBS certificate.

Working Hours:

8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, with call-outs as required approximately once every 4 weeks. On-call from Monday to Sunday, 5pm to 1am, with a call-out fee of £35-£50.
