Job summary

Magna Housing Group is seeking a Multi-skilled Plumber to join our housing team. The role covers Magna sites across Dorset and involves delivering high-quality plumbing and related trades work from initial report to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations.

You will work independently, hold a relevant trade qualification, drive across Dorset, and participate in an on-call rota with extra pay. A DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Time served apprenticeship or NVQ/C&G Level 2 in Plumbing with 1+ year post-qualification experience.
• You will be IT competent, using an iPad to receive, capture, and record works.
• You hold a driving licence and can travel across Dorset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality work from initial report to completion while complying with current legislation.
• Work independently and with a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Participate in out-of-hours on-call rota with additional pay.

• £41,152 per annum plus additional benefits and on-call allowances.

• 39 Hours per week.

• Location – Covering Magna Sites across Dorset.

• Van and uniform provided, along with all power tools and plant required to carry out role.

• Permanent role.

We are seeking a Multi-skilled Plumber to join our team of dedicated and professional housing experts. This position offers a varied and fulfilling routine with excellent benefits. • The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of knowledge and skills across various trades, with expertise in Plumbing and associated works such as Carpentry, Tiling, Patch-plastering and Decorating.

• This role requires a skilled operative who can work independently, demonstrate a positive attitude, and interact politely and professionally with customers and colleagues.

• The successful candidate will participate in our out-of-hours on-call rota as directed, for which you will receive an additional pay allowance.

What you need to be successful:

• Working towards a time served trade apprenticeship or C&G/NVQ level 2 in plumbing, with a minimum of 1 year’s post qualification experience in associated trades.

• You will be IT competent, as the role uses an iPad to receive, capture, record and complete all works accurately.

• You will hold a driving license and be prepared to travel to our customer’s homes across the Dorset area.
