Job summary

Magna Housing is seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join the Asset Delivery team. This field-based role involves delivering high-quality work from initial report to completion across Magna sites, with travel to customers' homes and your reporting office based at Magna Williton TA4 4RF.

You will need a time-served trade apprenticeship or NVQ level 2, IT competence for an iPad, and a valid driving licence.

Job description

• Salary £34,097 per annum plus benefits and on-call allowance.

• 39 hours per week.

• Field based with regular travel across all Magna sites - Your reporting office will be Magna Williton based at TA4 4RF, so we recommend that you live within 30 miles of this location.

• Van and uniform provided, along with all power tools and plant required to carry out role.

• Permanent Role.

• The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of knowledge and skills across various trades, with expertise in bricklaying and general repairs including pointing, plastering, fencing and groundworks.

• This role requires a skilled operative who can work independently, demonstrate a positive attitude, and interact politely and professionally with customers and colleagues.

What you need to be successful:

• Time served trade apprenticeship or C&G/NVQ level 2 or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year’s post qualification experience in associated trades.

• You will be IT competent, as the role uses an iPad to receive, capture, record and complete all works accurately.

• You will hold a driving license and be prepared to travel to our customer’s homes across our operating area.
