Job summary

whg in the Midlands is recruiting a Multi Skilled Plasterer for a permanent, 37-hour per week role in Walsall.

The salary ranges from £40,754 to £43,042 per annum, with benefits and opportunities for overtime and out-of-hours work.

You will perform plastering and other trades as part of a wide refurbishment portfolio, while upholding health and safety and delivering reliable customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-trade plastering and related trades.
• Ability to diagnose and fix repairs across refurbishment projects.
• Commitment to health and safety and using PPE.

Responsibilities

• Undertake plastering and multi-trade tasks, including bricklaying, carpentry, plumbing and mould remediation.
• Carry out works ranging from minor patches to larger refurbishment jobs.
• Inspect and diagnose jobs with a 'fix where possible' approach.
• Work efficiently to a high standard and attend appointments via hand-held device.
• Maintain van stocks and ensure proper storage of tools and materials.
• Ensure safe keeping of vehicle, plant, tools and PPE; follow risk assessments.
• Deliver excellent customer service while meeting KPI targets with a first-time fix mindset.

Main job responsibilities

• Undertake a wide range of Plastering and other multi-trade tasks, such as bricklaying, carpentry, plumbing and mould remediation.
• Undertaking works that range from minor patching or repairs to larger refurbishment jobs.
• Inspect and diagnose jobs, always adopting a ‘fix where possible approach.
• Work efficiently to a high standard, attending appointments scheduled via your hand-held device.
• Maintaining van stocks to an agreed level and always taking responsibility for your van stocks.
• Ensuring the safe keeping of vehicle, plant, tools, equipment and materials supplied by whg.
• Adhering to all relevant health and safety policies and procedures, including wearing PPE, adhering to risk assessments and work instructions.
• Delivering excellent customer service whilst achieving set KPI’s adopting a ‘first-time fix’ approach.
