Job summary

Build Recruitment, on behalf of its client, seeks an experienced Multi-Trade Plasterer to join the Damp & Mould team in Birmingham for a 12-week contract on social housing projects. The role covers reactive and planned maintenance, carrying out repairs to meet high standards.

You will have plastering and plumbing experience, hold a full clean licence (max 5 points), and work with a view to first-visit resolutions. A van and fuel card are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as a plasterer or multi-skilled tradesperson.
• Plumbing experience is required.
• Full, clean driving licence (max 5 points).

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks on social housing properties, ensuring high-quality standards.
• Take ownership of assigned work and resolve issues on first visit where possible.

At Build Recruitment, we work exclusively with built environment specialists around the UK.

Our client is looking for an experienced Multi-Trade Plasterer to join their Damp & Mould team for an initial 12 weekcontract working on social housing in Birmingham. The successful Multi-Trade Plastererwill have experience working onboth reactive and planned maintenance and will carry out repairs and maintenance tasks on Social Housing properties.

The pay rate for this role is £22PH CIS and the rolecomes with a van and fuel card.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks on Social Housing properties, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards.
• Take ownership of assigned work, aiming to resolve issues on the first visit to minimise repeat visits and disruptions.
• Complete all tasks within allocated budgets and timelines to maintain operational efficiency.
• Operate in accordance with company Health and Safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Keep up to date with the latest technical advancements and legal requirements relevant to your areas of expertise.
• Execute duties with minimal supervision whilst maintaining professionalism and a strong commitment to quality

Essential:

• Previous experience in a Plastererrole / Multi Skilled
• Plumbing experience
