Job summary

Veolia Group in Brighton is seeking on-site operatives to cover Mobile Plant, Weighbridge, and Traffic Controller roles on a 40-hour week. The position is a fixed-term contract for 12 months with shift flexibility and Saturday/Sunday coverage as needed.

You will operate on-site Mobile Plant, perform daily checks, and assist with loading materials, while complying with permit and site procedures. Training will be provided for equipment use and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous operational / manual handling experience.
• Training provided for Mobile Plant equipment.
• Good IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site cover for Mobile Plant, Weighbridge, and Traffic Controllers.
• Operate Mobile Plant and complete daily checks following the manual.
• Load materials on/off site and maintain site equipment.
• Follow Environmental Permit and planning conditions; site housekeeping.
