Job summary

Home Group Limited is seeking a Multi Skilled Operative to join our repairs and maintenance team in Cheshire. You will perform high-quality, right-first-time repairs across properties, combining trades such as joinery, carpentry, plastering, tiling, brickwork and basic plumbing.

A flexible, proactive approach and a full driving licence are essential. The role offers a company van and an out-of-hours rota with enhanced on-call pay in a supportive team environment.

• As multi skilled Operative, all allocated jobs are completed right first time, with a whole job repair approach, providing a brilliant service for our customers.


• Multi skilling across various trades to improve first time fixes and prevent multiple visits to customers' homes. This includes repairs, maintenance and property refurbishments.


• Delivering high-quality and compliant work.


• All jobs are scheduled so you know exactly where you need to be.

Requirements

• Relevant building/construction qualification.


• Experienced of working across multiple building trades such as joinery, carpentry, plastering, tiling, brickwork, groundwork or basic plumbing.


• A flexible approach, able to use your own initiative and judgement.


• A full current driving licence, as you will be provided with a company van for business use and commuting covering Luton and Colchester.
