Salary up to £40,686.10 per annum, plus a company vehicle & fuel card.
We are the largest provider of repairs, maintenance, and regeneration services across the UK. Mears offers tailored rapid-response and planned maintenance services through partnerships with over 70 local authorities, Arm’s Length Management Organisations, and Housing Associations.
As a Multi Skilled Operative, you will work alongside Octavia Council within our social housing sector, providing stable and profitable contracts, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the community.
You will support residents with reactive repairs across our property portfolio, working on a planned route. Your role involves undertaking high-standard multi-trade repairs and refurbishment activities, ensuring safety, quality, and cost control standards are met. You should have a certified core trade and the ability to deliver additional trade activities to complete repair and refurbishment works on time and to a high standard, following standard operating procedures. Take ownership of construction, fault finding, and maintenance repairs, aiming for first-time completion within budget and time constraints.
All roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work in the UK. Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be over 21, have held your license for more than 3 months, and have fewer than 9 points.
