Premier Foods is seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias) for the Ambrosia Creamery in Lifton, Devon. You will diagnose faults, repair machinery, and perform planned and reactive maintenance to keep production lines running efficiently.

The role requires a time-served mechanical bias engineer (NVQ Level 3, HNC or equivalent) and offers a rotating 4 on, 4 off shift pattern with overtime opportunities and a strong training programme.

Qualifications

• Qualified time served mechanical bias multi-skilled engineer.
• Familiarity with process and packaging plant desirable.
• Ability to work effectively on a rotating shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and prevent equipment faults to minimise downtime.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on food process, filling, and packing machinery.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and performance.
• Work collaboratively to maintain a safe, high-performing environment.
