Job summary

Premier Foods is seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join the Ambrosia Creamery in Lifton, Devon. You will diagnose, repair and prevent faults, keeping production lines running smoothly to serve millions of customers daily.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (HNC or similar) with rotating 4-on/4-off shifts. A proactive approach and familiarity with process and packaging plant are desirable. Competitive salary and benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• A qualified time served mechanical bias Multi skilled engineer (NVQ Level 3, HNC or equivalent).
• Familiarity with process and packaging plant is desirable.
• A proactive and flexible approach with rotating shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, repairing, and preventing equipment faults to minimise downtime.
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across food process, filling, and packing machinery.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and performance.
• Working collaboratively to maintain a safe, high-performing environment.
