Premier Foods is seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join our Ambrosia Creamery in Lifton, Devon. You will help keep our production lines running smoothly, diagnosing faults, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role offers a competitive salary of £57,431 per year with overtime, a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, comprehensive training, and benefits including a staff shop and cycle-to-work scheme.

Qualifications

• Qualified time-served mechanical bias multi-skilled engineer.
• Familiarity with process and packaging plant desirable.
• Proactive with rotating shift pattern flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and prevent equipment faults to minimise downtime.
• Maintain planned and reactive maintenance across process, filling, and packing machinery.
• Support continuous improvement to boost reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe, high-performing environment.
