Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is sourcing a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician for a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Wakefield. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a 3-shift rotating pattern and a salary of £46,000 per year.

You will maintain automated production machinery, perform preventative and reactive maintenance, and help maximise equipment reliability in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on electrical maintenance and fault-finding skills, with

Qualifications

Previous multi-skilled maintenance experience within industrial/manufacturing.
Strong hands-on electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience.
Experience carrying out planned, preventive, reactive and breakdown maintenance.
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across automated production machinery.
Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns and carry out fault-finding.
Diagnose and repair faults to minimise production downtime.
Complete reactive and planned maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Work proactively to identify potential equipment failures and improve machine reliability.
Support continuous improvement and engineering projects across the site.
Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures.
