Job summary

Active Pathways Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative to support services across Leeds and Halifax. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and assist with refurbishments to keep buildings safe, compliant and welcoming for residents and staff.

The role covers Millcroft House, Park Place, Fernside House, Heathy House and other West Yorkshire sites. A broad skill set and independent working style are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience across multiple maintenance disciplines.
• General building maintenance knowledge.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, joinery and building fabric repairs.
• Strong problem-solving and practical approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to travel between services across the region.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks daily, weekly and monthly.
• Respond to maintenance requests and repair issues promptly.
• Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently.
• Carry out basic electrical, plumbing, joinery and building fabric repairs.
• Support upkeep of internal and external environments.
• Travel between services across the West Yorkshire region.
• Promote safety and compliance.
