Job summary

Mears Group is recruiting a Multi Skilled Operative for Leeds to deliver responsive repairs and maintenance in residential properties. You will work across Leeds and surrounding areas, tackling a range of trades and supporting damp and mould remediation while maintaining high workmanship standards.

You will operate independently and within a wider team, ensure excellent resident service, and use a PDA to manage orders. Full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Qualified in a minimum of one trade discipline such as Bricklaying, Carpentry & Joinery, Plastering, Roofing, Plumbing, Damp Proof Coursing, Tiling or Glazing.
• Experience working within a trade environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake responsive repairs and maintenance works.
• Support damp and mould remediation projects.
• Remove and replace skirting boards, kitchen units and fixtures.
• Carry out repairs safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Ensure excellent customer service when working within residents' homes.
• Use a PDA to receive and complete work orders.
• Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicle responsibly.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
