Job summary

Berry Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative to work at MK19 on a short-term assignment. The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, at a rate of £22.50 per hour.

The position involves plumbing, mechanical and basic electrical maintenance, with potential extension or temp-to-perm opportunities. Candidates should be proactive, hands-on and able to work in a secure site environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role.
• Strong plumbing skills with ability to complete basic plumbing works independently.
• Good mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Hands-on approach to maintenance.
• Good communication and ability to work within a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve plumbing issues, including leaks and minor repair works.
• Support heating system maintenance and fault finding.
• Carry out general building maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Undertake basic electrical maintenance tasks where required.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests across the site.
• Assist with porterage duties and movement of equipment as needed.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures.
• Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all times.
