Job summary

Meridian Business Support Ltd in Woking, Surrey, is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer for a temporary 6-week assignment. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm, starting ASAP.

You will carry out plumbing maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and minor electrical works; perform planned and reactive maintenance; ensure health and safety compliance and maintain records using handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing maintenance, repairs, fault finding, and installations.
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing and mechanical faults efficiently.
• Minor Electrical Works: Fault-finding lighting and small power systems, replacing electrical accessories
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
• Repair and replace taps and sanitaryware.
• Complete work in accordance with relevant legislation, health and safety requirements, and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed using handheld devices or maintenance management systems.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and building occupants.
• Identify opportunities for improving building performance and reducing maintenance costs.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are used safely and effectively.
