Job summary

CV Technical Limited in Coalville, Leicestershire, is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain production machinery, carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime across a busy site. The role involves planned preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and rapid breakdown repairs, with a Panama shift pattern.

You will work closely with production teams to sustain throughput while adhering to health and safety

Qualifications

• Experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with both preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Proactive problem-solving, able to work independently and in a team.
• Comfortable working Panama shift pattern.

Responsibilities

We are recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established manufacturing business based in the Coalville area. This is an excellent opportunity for a multi skilled engineer to join a busy production environment, carrying out a combination of electrical and mechanical maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.

The Role:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and fault find electrical and mechanical issues.
• Respond to breakdowns, identifying root causes and implementing effective repairs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with health and safety procedures.
• Work closely with production teams to minimise disruption and maximise productivity.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with both preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Relevant engineering qualifications, such as an NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working a Panama shift pattern.
