Job summary

Questech Recruitment are partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Brighouse to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias). You will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance to keep production lines running efficiently.

You'll diagnose mechanical faults, implement improvements and support a small engineering team, with opportunities for holiday cover and development in a busy site.

• Experience as a maintenance engineer in manufacturing.

Questech Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) based in Brighouse.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful manufacturing business where you'll play a key role in keeping production equipment running efficiently through planned and reactive maintenance.

Working Hours

• Thursday: 6:00am – 6:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 12:00pm

Additional hours and holiday cover will be available when required.

The Role

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
• Work closely with production to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Provide holiday cover for other engineers when required.

The Person

• Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Food or beverage manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a small engineering team.
• Must be based locally to Brighouse or within a reasonable commuting distance.
