Job summary

CV Technical Limited is recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for our busy food manufacturing site in Merthyr Tydfil. The role provides hands-on maintenance support across a fast-paced production environment to keep machinery safe, reliable and operational.

The successful candidate will have strong electrical and/or mechanical skills, PLC experience is advantageous, and a track record in manufacturing maintenance. Experience in food or meat processing is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Multi skilled engineer with electrical and/or mechanical background.
• Previous manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• PLC experience would be advantageous.
• Experience in food or meat manufacturing would be beneficial.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern covering both days and nights.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the site
• Diagnose and fault find electrical and mechanical issues
• Minimise production downtime through effective fault finding and repairs
• Work with PLC controlled machinery and automated equipment
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures

We are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy food manufacturing site in Merthyr Tydfil.

The role will provide hands on maintenance support across a fast paced production environment, ensuring machinery and equipment remain safe, reliable and operational.

The successful candidate will be multi skilled, with a strong electrical and/or mechanical background, and have previous experience working within a manufacturing environment. Food or meat processing experience would be advantageous.
