Barry Callebaut is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician for our site in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on keeping production equipment running, performing preventative maintenance and reactive repairs to maximise uptime. You will work with production teams and follow TPM and safety standards to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Completed engineering apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Experience in food manufacturing or processing environment preferred.
• Strong fault-finding skills and PLC knowledge, Siemens preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment breakdowns with rapid fixes and permanent solutions.
• Own TPM cell performance and maximise machine uptime.
• Support daily direction setting and help meet site OEE targets.
• Diagnose faults using structured problem-solving and implement corrective actions.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance during production and planned shutdowns.
• Collaborate with production teams to address technical issues.
• Record maintenance activities and root causes in the CMMS.
• Participate in TPM activities and develop towards Cell Lead.
• Ensure safe systems of work and conduct risk assessments.
