Job summary

Barry Callebaut is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our site in Banbury. You will ensure maintenance tasks are planned, scheduled, and executed efficiently, coordinating between planning and operations to minimize disruption.

You will lead a team of technicians as needed, manage calendars, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and food safety standards (GMP, HACCP). Fluent English is essential for collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Fluent English in spoken and written form is required.
• Minimum 3 years in maintenance in manufacturing.
• Experience leading large teams in maintenance/engineering/operations.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain daily, weekly, monthly maintenance schedules.
• Identify safety and environmental risks and act to mitigate them.
• Coordinate maintenance timing and assign technicians based on skills and availability.
• Align maintenance with production plans to minimize downtime.
• Act as gatekeeper for emergency production calls and adjust schedules as needed.
• Monitor equipment, parts, and resource availability to meet schedules.
• Maintain technician calendars and CMMS records, ensuring timely documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing scheduling data for efficiency.
