Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Winsford to join a global manufacturing team. Salary is £44,000–£46,000 with Monday–Friday rotating shifts (no nights) and overtime opportunities.

The role involves electrical and mechanical maintenance across fast-paced lines, with extensive training and development on offer. You will work in a dynamic, safety-focused environment, contributing to continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives, while reporting to the Maintenance

Qualifications

• Time-Served apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical disciplines.
• Experience in Packaging, FMCG, Food or Plastic manufacturing with PM schedules.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities.
• Team-oriented with drive to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics and pneumatics; Kaizen, Six Sigma and 5S.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and Mechanical PPMs, reactive & breakdown maintenance.
• Maintenance on fast-paced lines in a high-volume environment.
• Contribute to Kaizen projects cross-functionally.
• Machine installations.
• Adhere to Health & Safety on site at all times.
