Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a food manufacturing site in the United Kingdom. You will join the engineering maintenance team to keep manufacturing equipment operating safely, reliably and efficiently.

The role involves hands-on work with planned maintenance, rapid breakdown response, fault diagnosis, and driving improvements across equipment performance. CMMS records and RCA/Lean initiatives form part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained engineer with fault-finding experience on manufacturing equipment, ideally in food/FMCG.
• Experience of using CMMS systems.
• Knowledge of air, steam or refrigeration systems.
• Familiar with RCA, FMECA or Lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance and respond quickly to breakdowns.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.
• Support RCA and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain accurate records through the CMMS system.
