Job summary

CV Technical Limited seeks an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Worksop to cover a Panama shift pattern, performing both planned and reactive maintenance across a busy site. You will maintain a wide range of production machinery, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Role focuses on fault-finding, maintenance across pneumatics/hydraulics, PLCs, drives, and sensors, with a clear path for upgrades and continuous improvement within a strong engineering team.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing maintenance with a hands-on approach.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance.
• A recognised engineering qualification or apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Responding to breakdowns and completing effective fault finding.
• Mechanical and electrical maintenance across production equipment.
• Diagnosing faults and minimising production downtime.
• Working on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Electrical fault finding, sensors, drives and control systems.
• PLC fault finding and diagnostics.
• Supporting machinery upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
• Identifying recurring faults and improving equipment reliability.
• Completing maintenance records and reporting issues.
• Working closely with the production team to maintain output.
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with Health & Safety procedures.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Panamas

Worksop | £56,605

CV Technical are working with a well-established food manufacturing business based in the Worksop area who are looking to add an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to their engineering team.

This is a hands-on engineering position within a busy production environment, working a Panama shift pattern and providing both planned and reactive maintenance across the site.

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of production machinery and ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

The Person

We're looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer who is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous maintenance experience within manufacturing
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance
• A recognised engineering qualification or apprenticeship
• Experience within food/FMCG manufacturing would be advantageous
• Good knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, motors and drives
• PLC fault-finding experience
• A proactive approach to breakdowns and preventative maintenance
• The ability to work effectively as part of an engineering team
