Job summary

Employment Solutions Ltd seeks a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician for a Deeside position. The role offers a substantial salary plus shift allowance, reflecting a Monday–Friday, 3-shift pattern in a leading manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include reactive breakdowns, PMs, electrical/mechanical maintenance, root-cause analysis, and supporting new equipment installations while adhering to permit-to-work/LOTOTO systems. A strong problem-solving capability is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering Apprenticeship Level 3, HNC or equivalent.
• Multi-skilled electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Manufacturing/industrial engineering background.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience or understanding of hazardous areas / ATEX.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding ability.
• CompEx Ex01-06 is desirable but NOT essential.

Responsibilities

• Reactive breakdowns and fault finding.
• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Root-cause analysis and reducing downtime.
• Supporting new equipment installations.
• Working within permit-to-work and LOTOTO systems.
• Supporting continuous improvement projects.
