Job summary

NT Engineering & Manufacturing, Renfrewshire, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to maintain plant and equipment across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The role reports to the Chief Engineer and involves delivering against a structured Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule.

The successful candidate will be a time-served engineer with a genuine electrical bias, comfortable working independently and as part of a team, and willing to work

Qualifications

• Time-served engineer with a genuine electrical bias.
• Background within a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well both in a team and independently.
• Willing to work a continuous 3-shift rotation, including nights.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to keep plant, machinery and equipment running reliably.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic breakdowns.
• Working as part of a wider engineering team, as well as independently when required.
• Supporting weekend preventative maintenance tasks and covering holiday/absence within the department as needed
