Job summary

NT Engineering & Manufacturing, Renfrewshire, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to maintain plant and equipment across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The role reports to the Chief Engineer and involves delivering against a structured Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule.

The successful candidate will be a time-served engineer with a genuine electrical bias, comfortable working independently and as part of a team, and willing to work

Qualifications

Time-served engineer with a genuine electrical bias.
Background within a manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well both in a team and independently.
Willing to work a continuous 3-shift rotation, including nights.

Responsibilities

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to keep plant, machinery and equipment running reliably.
Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic breakdowns.
Working as part of a wider engineering team, as well as independently when required.
Supporting weekend preventative maintenance tasks and covering holiday/absence within the department as needed
