Job summary

Iron Mountain in Rugby is seeking a skilled Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to maintain and optimise the MOVU shuttle-based storage system, ensuring peak throughput. You’ll work twilight night shifts from Monday night through Friday morning, with daytime availability during the week and long weekends, balancing focused night work with extended time off to recharge.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintaining and troubleshooting highly automated industrial machinery and high-throughput systems.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical engineering (ideally 70/30 bias) and technical proficiency with Siemens or similar PLC platforms.
• Proven ability to diagnose complex faults using a systematic approach while working flexibly across different shifts and at varying heights.
• Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering or an equivalent industry-standard qualification.

Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled and proactive Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our Magna Park Rugby Campus team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and optimisation of our high-density MOVU shuttle-based storage system to ensure peak operational efficiency.Our award-winning Rugby and Magna Park campus is situated in the heart of the United Kingdom’s logistics golden triangle, offering a broad portfolio of services including pallet storage, secure warehousing, and transportation.

You’ll be working a twilight night shift pattern from Monday night through to Friday morning, with the added benefit of daytime availability during the week and long weekends, giving you the perfect balance of focused night work and extended time off to relax and recharge.
