Job summary

Banham Poultry (2018) Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join the engineering team and provide effective electrical support across the site. The role involves routine maintenance, fault finding, and supporting maintenance strategies to minimise downtime and ensure production plans are met.

You will be required to work 12-hour rotating shifts (5 on, 5 off) days and nights, with on-site parking and a health and safety course essential.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / BTEC Level 3 Electrical Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of experience in a FMCG environment is preferred.
• Health and Safety course completion is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine electrical maintenance and other maintenance activities to minimise downtime and meet the production plan.
• Perform engineering work safely, to a high standard and in a timely manner.
• Engage with maintenance strategies and keep the workshop clean and well-organised.

Job description

Banham Poultry (2018) Ltd recruiting for Electrical Engineer to work as part of engineering team to provide effective and efficient electrical support throughout the site.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine electrical maintenance and other maintenance activities, ensuring that the manufacturing team achieve 100% compliance to the production plan, by minimising engineering downtime.
• Carry out engineering work to good standard, safely and in timely manner.
• Fully engaged in supporting the engineering maintenance strategies
• Ensure workshop is kept to a good standard, clean and tidy.
• Keep all tools in good serviceable condition and make sure they are fit for purpose.
• Complete Job reports/tickets each shift
• Assist Shift Leader in duties to ensure smooth running of shift
• Liaise with production and prioritise work in best interests of production and company
• Ensure proactive response to maintenance and breakdowns on site ensuring continuity of production and services.
• Arrange ordering for any non-stock items required.
• Any other duties required by Engineering/Senior Management.
• 12 hrs rotating shift pattern – 5 on 5 off days and nights. From 6.00 till 6.00
• Salary – up to £52 275 p/a
