Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Day Shift) for a permanent role in Bridgnorth, Shropshire. The role offers a 4 on 4 off 12-hour days pattern with a 50/50 split between planned maintenance and breakdowns, and includes in-house upskilling and long-term stability.

You’ll work on an anaerobic digestion/CHP plant, perform daily checks, respond to faults, and help improve plant performance while reading drawings and collaborating with a small engineering

Qualifications

• Maintenance engineer with a 50/50 mechanical/electrical skillset or electrical bias.
• Fault finding ability and panel experience; able to read drawings.
• Experience on pumps and conveyors in process/plant environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily checks, PPMs and fault-finding.
• Respond to breakdowns, blockages and jams across site equipment.

Bridgnorth, Shropshire (Commutable from: Kidderminster, Stourbridge, Telford, Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Dudley, Worcester, Walsall)

Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias or true multi-skilled) looking for a site-based role with a consistent 4 on 4 off day shift pattern, long-term stability and genuinely varied work on interesting process equipment?

This is a permanent position with a well-established anaerobic digestion site where you’ll be part of a small, close-knit engineering team, working on a 50/50 split of planned maintenance and reactive breakdowns. You’ll be supported with in-house upskilling, including electrical courses, whilst working on a plant that is always evolving and improving.

The company are a specialist renewable energy operator, exporting electricity via CHP engines and processing food waste through digestion systems. With a clear focus on increasing capacity and continued improvement, they are now looking to grow the maintenance team.

In this role you’ll carry out daily checks, PPMs and fault-finding, as well as responding to breakdowns, blockages and jams across site equipment such as pumps, conveyors and control panels, reading drawings and diagnosing issues to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.

This role would suit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong fault-finding ability and panel experience, looking for a stable, site-based position with a great day shift pattern, varied work and a close team environment.

The Role:

• Site-based maintenance on an anaerobic digestion / CHP plant in Bridgnorth
• 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12-hour days)
• Days only
• 50/50 split between PPM and breakdowns (fault finding, rectification, monitoring)
• Daily checks, PPMs, monitoring digesters, dealing with blockages/jams

The Person:

• Maintenance Engineer with a 50/50 mechanical/electrical skillset or electrical bias
• Fault finding ability, panel experience and able to read drawings
• Experience on equipment such as pumps and/or conveyors (process/plant environments beneficial)
