Job summary

MorePeople is seeking a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to keep a busy automated production line running safely and efficiently. You’ll fault-find, repair and improve electrical and mechanical systems, with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

The role offers a structured 4 on/4 off shift pattern with a 1 in 4 night rotation, a fully equipped workshop and opportunities to fabricate, modify and install new equipment while working closely

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical maintenance background.
• Experience with industrial electrical fault finding.
• Experience with automated machinery and packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs.
• Planned and reactive maintenance.
• Maintaining and improving automated packaging equipment.
• Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Carrying out fabrication and welding work.
• Working with production teams to minimise downtime.
