Job summary
Astute is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer for its Pulborough site within the Renewables Team, a well‑established food manufacturer supplying bakery products across the UK and Europe. The role offers a 4-on/4-off pattern from 07:00 to 19:00 and a comprehensive benefits package, plus free onsite parking and a strong working environment.

Qualifications
- Time served or engineering qualifications.
- 17th/18th edition wiring regulations.
- Experience maintaining industrial machinery, ideally within FMCG.
- Welding experience is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Complete PPM and reactive breakdown maintenance on manufacturing/industrial/FMCG machinery to maximise equipment performance.
- Conduct electrical fault-finding with quick response and rectification.
- Perform activities on 3-phase and single-phase power.
- Perform activities on motors, pumps, metal detectors, flow wrappers, packaging equipment etc.
- Other duties as required.
