Job summary

Nestlé Purina Wisbech is seeking a multi-skilled Shift Engineer to join the reliability maintenance team. You will maintain machinery, drive safety and quality, and collaborate with production groups to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification: NVQ 3 or equivalent in mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Continuous improvement mindset and ability to implement process enhancements.
• Preventative maintenance knowledge and practices.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis tools and problem-solving methodologies.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and TPM concepts.
• Solid mechanical comprehension and awareness of food safety standards.
• Adherence to strict hygiene and safety compliance rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the basic condition of the machines in your line and perform improvement activities.
• Drive a safe culture and eliminate safety risks in the workplace.
• Ensure products are made to quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvements across manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with MWG/AWG production teams to implement improvements using inspections and breakdown analysis.
