Job summary

Brazen Search are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for their busy manufacturing site in Bingley, West Yorkshire. You will perform a mix of planned preventive maintenance and reactive breakdown work on production equipment.

The role covers electrical and mechanical faults, with opportunities to develop automation and PLC skills. A 4 on 4 off day/night shift pattern offers stability and career progression with ongoing training.

Qualifications

Experience as a Multi-Skilled/Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing environments.
Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
Solid mechanical maintenance experience.
Experience in FMCG or industrial production.
Experience with motors, drives, conveyors and automated machinery.
Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
PPMs (planned preventative maintenance) experience.
Engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent.
Strong problem-solving and fault-diagnosis skills.
Willingness to work a 4 on 4 off day/night rotation.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on production machinery.
Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
Fault-find on motors, gearboxes, conveyors, sensors, drives and control systems.
Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and electrical control circuits.
Support machinery modifications, installations and CI projects.
Work safely and comply with site health, safety and engineering procedures.
