Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a market-leading food manufacturer in Coventry. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance, rapid problem solving and ensuring production runs smoothly in a high-tech facility.

You will perform reactive and planned maintenance, maintain CMMS records, and work closely with production to hit daily targets while following safety and best practices.

Qualifications

• Time-served/apprenticeship-trained engineer
• C&G/NVQ Level 3 or ONC/HNC preferred
• Strong electrical skillset
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Positive, proactive mindset and a team player

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on engineering support to keep production running smoothly
• Perform both reactive and planned maintenance on plant and equipment
• Keep maintenance records up to date using our CMMS system
• Work closely with production to meet daily performance goals
• Follow safety and repair best practices at all times
• Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives
