Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, Worksop

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer for a growing reputable manufacturer in Worksop. This role offers a salary of £57,000 and various benefits including generous annual leave, electric car charging, onsite parking, subsidised canteen, product discounts, and company shares.

Location: Worksop

Shift Pattern: Custom shifts (Days and Nights, including 2 of 4 weekends)

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine scheduled PPMs and respond to equipment faults and breakdowns promptly.
  • Diagnose and repair breakdown issues, fitting new parts as necessary.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of efficiency losses and major breakdowns.
  • Handle emergencies, unplanned problems, repairs, and support installations.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform fault finding on PLCs.
  • Adhere to all site procedures related to safety, engineering, hygiene, and technical standards.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives alongside the day-shift engineering team.
Requirements:
  • HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance (preferred).
  • Level 3 (City & Guilds or NVQ) in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance.
  • Strong electrical knowledge and experience or willingness to develop this expertise.
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing maintenance role.
