Job summary

Avanti Solutions (Uk) Limited in Reading seeks a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to perform routine breakdown and planned maintenance on automated equipment, including wrappers, conveyors, packaging machinery, cranes and sorters.

The role is Monday to Friday days, with salary around £35,000 plus overtime, pension, healthcare and 25 days holiday.

You will be a lone on-site engineer, the specialist for automation, applying your electrical and mechanical qualifications.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification or equivalent required.
• Experience as Mechanical Engineer or strong electrical experience.
• Able to work alone on site.
• Willingness to work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Routine breakdown and planned preventive maintenance on automated machinery (wrappers, conveyors, packaging machinery, cranes, sorters).
• Maintain and service on-site equipment and systems.
• Handle on-site, customer-facing engineering tasks as a lone engineer.

Multi Skilled Engineer, salary circa £35,000, Reading.Working Monday to Friday DAYS, 8am – 4pm.

Salary comes with overtime, pension, healthcare, life insurance and 25 days holiday plus stats.

The Company – An international integrated systems and solutions provider. Working in the distribution / automated warehouse industry. They design, develop and implement automated materials handling solutions and provide full on-site customer support.

The role – Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Routine breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery to include, wrappers, conveyors, packaging machinery, cranes and sorters.
• Working at heights.
• This is a customer facing role, where you will be working as a lone Engineer for my client, being the specialist for the automation on site.

The Applicant – Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Must have served your time as an Electrical Engineer or have an equivalent Electrical qualification, coupled with experience of working as a Mechanical Engineer OR have served your time as a Mechanical Engineer and have strong Electrical experience and qualifications.
• Experience or able to work alone.
• Experience or able to work at heights
