Pioneer Selection Ltd is helping recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a site in Welwyn Garden City. The role is dayshift, offering a £40,000–£48,000 salary and long-term stability in a fast-paced, automated environment.

You will undertake electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding and breakdown response, while supporting preventative maintenance and CI projects with production teams. Training and progression are highlighted as benefits.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

You’ll be responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding, breakdown response, and planned preventative maintenance to maximise uptime. The multi-skilled maintenance engineer will also support continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades, working closely with production to drive safety and performance. Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Maintenance experience within a manufacturing background or automated environment
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.
• Engineering Qualification

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Ideally electrically biased
• Flexibility to work overtime and call-out rota
• Motors, sensors, inverters, control panels and three-phase systems, bearings, chains, belts, pneumatics
• Electrical fault-finding experience.

Desirable Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
