Job summary

Avanti Solutions (Uk) Limited in Reading is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to service automated equipment on site, including wrappers, conveyors and sorters. This is a dayshift role, Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, with lone-working on customer sites.

Responsibilities include routine breakdowns and preventive maintenance; you must have completed an electrical apprenticeship or hold a valid electrical qualification, with experience in mechanical engineering and working alone at heights.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an electrical apprenticeship or hold an electrical qualification.
• Experience in mechanical engineering is desirable.
• Ability to work alone and at heights on customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Routine breakdowns and planned preventive maintenance on automated machinery (wraps, conveyors, packaging, cranes, sorters).
• Working at heights as part of site maintenance.
• Lone engineer on site, providing specialist automation on customer locations.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer, salary circa £35,000, Reading. Working Monday to Friday DAYS, 8am - 4pm.

Salary comes with overtime, pension, healthcare, life insurance and 25 days holiday plus stats.

The Company - An international integrated systems and solutions provider. Working in the distribution / automated warehouse industry. They design, develop and implement automated materials handling solutions and provide full on-site customer support.

The role - Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Routine breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery to include, wrappers, conveyors, packaging machinery, cranes and sorters.
• Working at heights.
• This is a customer facing role, where you will be working as a lone Engineer for my client, being the specialist for the automation on site.

The Applicant - Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Must have served your time as an Electrical Engineer or have an equivalent Electrical qualification, coupled with experience of working as a Mechanical Engineer.
• Experience or able to work alone.
• Experience or able to work at heights
