Hunter Selection is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for our Atherton client, a fast-moving manufacturing site. The role focuses on planned and reactive maintenance to maximise OEE, reduce downtime and enhance machinery performance.

You will collaborate with the wider engineering team, production and stakeholders while upholding strict Health & Safety standards. The ideal candidate will have time-served electrical maintenance experience, a background in FMCG/packaging environments, and a

Qualifications

• Time-Served Electrical Maintenance Engineering Experience.
• Food/FMCG/Packaging Industrial Engineering Backgrounds desired.
• Previous work in a fast paced environment.
• Motivated to work in a team environment and continue to develop as an engineer.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willingness to train & take on internal training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance work to maximise OEE, reduce downtime and improve machinery performance.
• Communicating effectively with wider engineering team, production and other key stakeholders.
• Adhering to Health & Safety on site at all times.
• Ensure the highest H&S standards and safe working practices are carried out.
• Spot opportunities for process improvements and work with team to implement those.
• Maintenance on Mixers, Valves, Reactors and other Mechanical Equipment.
• Improvement Projects.
