Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role at a modern, high-speed site in Cheshire seeks a capable professional to keep production running safely and efficiently. You will perform planned preventive maintenance and reactive breakdowns while ensuring compliant operations.

Experience in manufacturing environments with strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding is required; overtime and a strong benefits package are available on site.

Qualifications

• PPMs and breakdowns experience across a busy production site.
• Strong fault-finding across hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings and belts.
• Electrical knowledge: 3-phase/single-phase, sensors, relays and VSDs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and reactive breakdown work.
• Ensure equipment compliance with current Health & Safety legislation.
• Record maintenance activity accurately and timely.

Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Hartford, Northwich

Salary: Basic up to £50,(Apply online only) - £55,(Apply online only)+Overtime+Full Benefits Package

Shift: Double Days (Mon-Fri) - 1 week earlies / 1 week lates (no weekends)

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

A standout opportunity has become available for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a market-leading industrial manufacturing business at a modern, high-speed site in Cheshire.

As the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key part in keeping production running safely and efficiently. You'll be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown work, and ensuring equipment remains compliant with current Health & Safety legislation, while accurately recording all maintenance activity.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Recognised Engineering Qualification(Level 3 or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment
• Comfortable working multi-skilled (electrical & mechanical)(approx. 70/30 either way)

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Experience completing PPMs and responding to breakdowns across a busy production site
• Strong mechanical fault-finding: hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, belts, chains
• Solid electrical skillset: 3 phase / single phase, sensors, relays, contactors, variable speed drives
• Organised approach with strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Able to work calmly under pressure and communicate effectively with operations/stores
