Fresh Start Recruitment (UK) Ltd is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a Mansfield facility. The role is a temp-to-perm pathway with duties including preventative maintenance and fault-finding on mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems. Candidates should self-manage, communicate effectively, and work with non-automated production machinery.

Salary is £40,000–£43,000 per year, days-only with occasional 10pm cover during holidays. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in fault finding on production machinery.
• Apprenticeship trained engineer (electrical or mechanical).
• Ability to self-manage and work independently.
• Solid communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across the site.
• Assist in fault finding and troubleshooting as required.
• Work as part of the wider team to minimise production disruption.
• Undertake repairs and general maintenance to the site whenever needed.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Mansfield, Nottinghamshire

Days only role however you will be required to cover until 10pm during holiday periods

£40,000 - £43,000

We need a multi skilled maintenance engineer on a temp to perm bias to work for a local manufacturing facility, this is excellent for a candidate that can self- manage to work independently, whilst being able to communicate effectively, both internally and externally.

Requirements for the role for the multi skilled maintenance engineer

• Knowledge of Mechanical Pneumatic Logic.
• Fault Finding experience
• Apprenticeship trained engineer electrical or mechanical
• Electrical knowledge/experience safely isolate/test/remove & replace a motor.
• Ability to work with and understand non-automated production machinery
• Be a team player whilst having the ability to self-manage, must be methodical in their approach to maintenance
• Working knowledge of CMMS
• ATEX knowledge (Desirable)

As the multi skilled maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance at the site and assisting in fault finding and troubleshooting issues. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, you will be expected to work as part of the wider team to ensure least disruption to the production facility. In addition, you will be expected to undertake additional duties as required such as repairs and general maintenance to the sites.
