Job summary

ETS Consulting is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a leading FMCG site in Leeming Bar. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance on packaging lines, conveyors, bottling and robotics, with a continental shift system.

You will be apprentice-trained in electrical engineering with PLC experience and a proven ability to work in a high-speed PLC-controlled environment. The site plans further investment to boost capacity.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained in electrical engineering.
• Experience with PLC systems and automated machinery.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance (PPM) in FMCG.

Salary: £51,000 - £60,000 (after 6 months) + Pension + Excellent Benefits

The CompanyBased within one of the UK's leading specialists, privately owned FMCG manufacturing companies, my client is looking to recruit an experienced maintenance engineer to add to their engineering team.

The facility in Leeming Bar will benefit from further investment this year, to increase capacity. This manufacturing company is a well established business supplying into major blue chip manufacturers and is an extremely secure organisation.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical Engineering

• Understanding of PPM Systems within FMCG

The Role

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules (PPM Systems), working with equipment such as packaging, labelling machines, flow wrappers, conveyors, fillers, bottling lines, Krones production equipment, robotics. and processing machinery within a high speed PLC controlled automated environment.

In addition to this you will have the experience and ability to work within a multi skilled team and have the responsibility for the maintenance of automated manufacturing machinery and factory services, ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of engineering in this high speed food manufacturing plant.
