Job summary

Echo Personnel Ltd is recruiting an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a busy FMCG manufacturing site in Corby. The role focuses on keeping production running efficiently by performing planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, implement improvements, and ensure safe practices on site. The rotating shift pattern supports coverage for days and nights.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role is essential.
• Multi-skilled mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment is highly desirable.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, able to work independently or in a team.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise production downtime.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and identify root causes to prevent recurring issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve machinery reliability and performance.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures.
• Work closely with production teams to maintain smooth and efficient operations.

Echo Personnel is recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy FMCG manufacturing site in Corby. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with previous maintenance experience to join an established operation, playing a key role in keeping production running efficiently and minimising downtime.

Shift Pattern Detail

The role operates on a rotating shift pattern of 2 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off , with two weeks working days followed by two weeks working nights.
