Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer – Commercial Building – North Glasgow - Salary up to £38,000

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM company based in Glasgow. CBW is currently recruiting for a maintenance engineer to be based at a commercial building in Glasgow North. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified electrical or mechanical engineer with proven experience in commercial/property building maintenance and be capable of handling various maintenance tasks. The role involves carrying out electrical and mechanical planned and reactive maintenance alongside the on-site maintenance team. Candidates should have hands-on experience with the following:

• Electrical and mechanical maintenance
• Lighting, pumps, motors, air conditioning, water treatment, plumbing, BMS systems, and building fabric

In return, the company offers a competitive salary, training opportunities, and overtime.

Package & Hours of Work

• Up to £38,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday, 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
• Uniform and tools provided
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform electrical PPMs and reactive maintenance
• Lighting maintenance including lamp and ballast changes
• Emergency light testing
• Maintain pumps, motors, seals, bearings
• Air conditioning maintenance (Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units)
• Water treatment checks
• Plumbing tasks such as unblocking toilets and replacing taps and washers
• Monitor BMS systems
• Maintain general building fabric
• Escort subcontractors
• Meet all KPI & SLA requirements
• Complete tasks timely and professionally
• Proactively identify and report faults
• Report H&S issues
• Maintain communication with client staff
• Report service issues to site management
• Remain flexible in site attendance and tasks within competency
