Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd has a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join a leading industrial manufacturer in North Yorkshire. You will maintain, repair, troubleshoot and improve production equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires experience in 3-phase electrics, hydraulics and pneumatics, PLC fault-finding and a proactive team player willing to work Earlies, Lates and Nights with overtime paid on weekends (one weekend in six).

Qualifications

• Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias.
• Electrical qualification required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment beneficial.
• Experience with 3-Phase electrics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• PLC fault-finding experience.
• Willingness to work Earlies, Lates and Nights; one weekend in 6 with overtime on Earlies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth production.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimise performance.
• Assist with root-cause analysis and shutdown recovery to minimise downtime.

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Multi-Skilled

Location: Knaresborough, North Yorkshire

Salary: Basic £47,500 plus Benefits

Shift: Earlies, Lates and Nights - Will work 1 weekend in 6 which will be paid at Overtime rates

• Hold some form of Electrical qualification.

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Ideally worked within a manufacturing environment previously.
• Worked to 3-Phase Electrics as well as sound hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge and experience.
• PLC Fault-Finding experience.
• Be a self-starter as well as a team player.
• Be willing to work a Earlies, Lates & Nights shift pattern. You will work 1 weekend in 6 which is paid at attractive overtime rates on a Earlies shift.
