Job summary

Kinetic plc in Bromborough, England is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for dayshift hours 8:45am to 5:00pm. The role requires an apprentice-trained mechanical or electrical engineer with a solid manufacturing background and strong fault-finding skills.

Maintenance Engineer (DAYS)

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Bromborough, England

Weekdays: 8:45am – 5:00pm

Salary: £45,000 p.a.

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the Bromborough area, is looking for a Maintenance Engineer on days, working 8:45am – 5:00pm. The salary for the role is £45,000 p.a. They are open to either mechanical or electrical bias, as long as you have a solid manufacturing background and strong fault finding capabilities. You must be apprentice trained in either mechanical or electrical disciplines.

Duties
  • Fixing machine faults occurring as part of the normal shift activity.
  • Carrying out preventative electrical or mechanical maintenance activities and routine safety inspections.
  • Fault finding and diagnostics in reactive breakdown or planned situations.
  • Planned preventative maintenance on a variety of production machinery and site services.
  • Ensure all breakdowns are dealt with promptly and efficiently whilst ensuring that all PPM schedules are maintained.
  • Support project development.
  • Follow and encourage stringent HSE and standard company practices.
  • Practice continuous improvement and pro-activeness for improved ways of working offering possible solutions.
